P We have several openings for Unix Firewall Build Administrators! These are long-term, Full time contract opportunities located in Pontiac, MI. /P P DUTIES: BR 1. Build and configuration of Check Point Firewalls based on Engineering Work Orders (EWO). BR 2. Required to follow detailed implementation guide; translating EWO requirements to check list items. BR 3. Position requires that candidates are comfortable working in a command-line environment. BR 4. Low-level hardware troubleshooting skills. BR 5. Communication within build team and other implementation teams; ie vendor, Firewall Engineering, etc. /P P REQUIRED: BR 1. 1-3 years Unix/Linux experience required. BR 2. Basic understanding of TCP/IP model or OSI model. BR 3. Basic understanding of packet routing and service ports. BR 4. Ability to adapt to changing device requirements. BR 5. Familiarity with Check Point Firewalls (R70.3) is desired. BR 6. Excellent communication skills in English - both writing and speaking. BR 7. Ability to work in a global organization with different cultures. BR 8. Proven experience of working across cultures and boundaries. /P P DESIRED: BR 1. Familiarity with Service Center and Service Manager desired. BR 2. Familiarity with ADMS, MDL and RedFish desired. /P P CERTIFICATIONS: BR 1.
