Job Description

Billings Clinic, in Billings, Montana, is seeking an IS Analyst III to join our tech-savvy Translational Research Department! The Research Data Analyst is a challenging position responsible for the development and maintenance of essential databases and reporting processes for quality initiatives and externally funded research projects, accessing, extracting, synthesizing and verification of clinical and financial information, and report generation to support identification and evaluation of analytic findings and results. This person acts as a resource to diverse types of end users, employees and leadership regarding data support services and outcomes. A Bachelors Degree in health care administration, business, computer science, or a related field is required. A Masters degree in public health, healthcare administration, statistics, epidemiology, or related field is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strong database management experience. Grant writing and literature review experience, as well as experience in clinical outcomes research is highly desirable. National Institute of Health (NIH) Human Participant Certification is to be obtained within 3 months of employment. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
