Quidel is searching for a Salesforce.com Analyst to work as our primary systems administrator and sales process analyst. This position will reside in our corporate office in the Carmel Valley area of San Diego. If you're excited about the idea of working closely with the Sales Leadership team, collaborating across technology teams to build awesome business solutions, driving efficiencies, and managing a global Sales Cloud then this is the ideal position for you!
At least 5 years of professional experience; 3+ years of industry experience as a Salesforce.com administrator/analyst
Create reports and dashboards for users and management team
Create and maintain process documentation, policies, configuration and help guides for users
Strong administration skills – data migration, configuration, customization
Extensive knowledge of 3rd party applications : evaluate, install and optimize 3rd party Salesforce tools and integration
Background working directly with key stakeholders ( Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, IT, Finance)
Proven experience developing new processes & implementing across all relevant teams (completing testing, documentation, training, adoption, etc.)
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science or a Business-related field. Equivalent work experience can be substituted.
Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred
Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
Collaborative, strong team player. Influences others within the team and across functions to drive results and innovative ideas.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, Face-to-face)
Strong requirements, analysis, and documentation skills
Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
Strong understanding of data management and administration principles
Proficient with Microsoft Office and SQL
