JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY JOB SUMMARY
Configure and support computer hardware and software for Athletics Department staff (numbering approximately 225 full time employees). Install hardware and software, provide end user training and support. Troubleshoot hardware and software failures. Perform workstation imaging. Respond to requests for support in a timely fashion. Provide onsite and on-call support for athletic events, to include nights, weekends and out of town events. Set up and support live game statistics systems incorporating wireless technologies, file sharing, post of live event stats and results to various media outlets. Support departmental staff in their use of mobile computing technologies. Systems include smartphones, tablets, notebook computers, VPN software, and remote access technology.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES
Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems, Apple Mac OSX, Microsoft Office applications, Remote Access technologies, file sharing, TCP/IP, Ethernet, computer hardware setup, software installation, troubleshooting, malware removal, Workstation Imaging, Symantec Ghost, SCCM, WIM, and Dell Image Assist.
DOES THIS POSITION HAVE SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES*
Associate s Degree and 2 years of experience in technical support.
