JOB DESCRIPTIONImmediate need for an IT Administrative Assistant in the Health Care Industry to work in Commerce. Bilingual Chinese or Spanish is strongly preferred.
Provides administrative support to the assigned unit. Responsibilities may include: scheduling appointments, giving information to callers, dictation, composing
memos, transcribing notes, handling multiple projects, and preparing and monitoring invoices and expense reports. May also research and create
presentations, generate reports, represent management at meetings and assist in compiling and developing the annual budget.
Skills and Abilities:
Shorthand or speed writing.
Personal Computer literacy: File management, labels, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Visio.
Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
Problem solving for complex situations.
Good interpersonal skill with managers and administrative staff.
Highly professional demeanor.
Good time management and prioritizing skills.
Demonstrates attention to details while multi-tasking a variety of projects.
Ability to troubleshoot problems without direct supervision, as needed.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree highly preferred.
A minimum of four years experience in an office environment performing a similar level of work required.
Prior health care experience preferred.
Able to speak, read, and write in English, Spanish, and Chinese strongly
