Job Description
**This position can be located in Milwaukee (WI) or Golden (CO)**The IT Business Analyst is the information liaison, and relationship builder, for all cross-functional processes and process-related issues and influences others both inside and outside of the department by bringing the department's information to bear on process-related issues. The IT Business Analyst provides leadership and accountability for issues and issue escalation management for the business unit; analyzing and assessing the impact of systems-related issues, ensuring the proactive surfacing of potential process issues and flagging of recurrent or systemic issues, and prioritizing and building business cases for issue resolution.The IT Business Analyst is skilled in conducting analysis of reports, testing systems and processes, and validation of information and system integrity. The Business Process Partner is also responsible for project management in the integration of solutions back into cross-functional processes, overall optimization of all business processes within the department, and the identification of efficiencies between and among department functions.Areas of Responsibility: 1. Business Technology Strategy-·Identify gaps in existing processes, determine disposition (major project, small project, enhancement) and provide recommendations for future roadmap initiatives·Build and maintain relationships with assigned customers·Develop and continually strengthen knowledge of business and business processes for assigned areas â?? viewed as the BIS expert 2. Business Technology Planning, Plan Development-· Provide support to Process Lead in developing yearly plan by providing business benefits analysis and estimates for area of responsibility (business requirements, functional design, business processes, UAT)· Define business requirements, identify trends and gaps with existing processes, and recommend projects as input into the annually planning process 3. Business Technology Execution· Provide support to Process Lead in developing business cases by providing business benefits analysis and estimates for area of responsibility (business requirements, functional design, business processes, UAT)·Elicit requirements for projects and enhancements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and work-flow analysis· Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver artifacts as required by the MillerCoors project methodology.· Completes business process mapping and design·Translates requirements and processes into function design with support from SAP Functional Specialists for SAP projects. ·Leads user acceptance testing for major initiatives, small projects and enhancements insuring that the final solution delivers against business requirements.Education Level and/or Experience:*Bachelorâ??s degree with focus on IT, CS, or related field * 3-6 years of business analysis experience, preferably with a manufacturing business* Business process knowledge of assigned business areasSkills and/or Knowledge:*Strong ability to collaborate with senior leadership , senior technologists and Business Partners to define business processes, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions and measure delivery results*Ability to interface and influence people at all levels within the organization*Possess an advanced degree of business acumen*Capable of translating and presenting technical concepts into practical business terms for leaders both small and large group settings*Project management experience a plus*Ability to analyze and document complex business processes *Ability to make effe
