iVantage Group is currently seeking an energetic IT RECRUITER who has the skills to work in a fast-paced environment. The RECRUITER will work as part of the Talent Acquisition team in an environment that demands quick thinking, aggressive sourcing skills and a proactive "STAFFING agency" approach toward talent acquisition.

STATUS: Full time and includes a competitive compensation and benefits package

LOCATION: Brighton, Michigan



Work closely with Account Managers to determine your daily sourcing objectives.

Qualify candidates for positions (IT & Engineering) by utilizing various tools (job boards, internet, networking, referrals, and cold calls).

Spend upwards of 85% of your day on the phone qualifying candidates.

Conduct phone screens, administer pre-employment testing, coordinate on-site interviews, and collect supporting paperwork (applications, assessments, background checks, etc.).

Present and negotiate job offers, including salary and benefits information.

Manage your portfolio of candidates (entries and updates to the candidate tracking system).

Provide back up of your Account Managers on client site as needed.

Otherresponsibilities and projects as assigned.


Ideal candidates will possess:


A Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources.

Recruiting experience within the professional services industry.

Proven ability to generate candidate pipelines utilizing innovative techniques that include strategic sourcing, candidate pipelining, internet mining, and social media, etc.

Active participation in various network/sourcing events.

Experience in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Exceptional presentation and problem solving skills.

A high degree of professionalism, strong communication and multi-tasking skills.

Results oriented with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
