JOB DESCRIPTIONMy client located in Boston is looking for an IT Help Desk Technician. This is a call center as well as deskside type environment. You will be responsible for problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to clients at the end user computing level. Additionally you will assist in providing responsive, direct telephone technical/customer support.
Minimum: 3-4years experience in a technical environment. BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent. Knowledge and/or Experience with desktop, laptop and mobile computing devices. Strong customer service focus and customer service work experience.
Preferred Skills: 5+ years experience in a technical environment. Strong understanding of Windows and associated applications, strong understanding of various client computing devices including desktops, laptops, tablets and hybrids (e.g. MS Surface), and phones. Experience with Help Desk policies and procedures and experience with production preferred. Process improvement skills are critical, as are client experience / customer service skills.
