JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Description:
The Desktop Administrator role reports to the Director of IT Primarily responsible for:Management in a mixed operating system environment (Win/Mac/Linux)Employee OnboardingComputer/Network TroubleshootingCreate and maintain security standards and best practicesStaff trainingResolving helpdesk ticketsSupporting mobile device users Other duties include but not limited to:System imagingDocumentationVOIP softphone support and managementEmail and SaaS support and managementUpdates and patchesPrinter supportSpecial projects* Requirements2+ years technical supportExhibit working knowledge of Windows and MacUnderstanding of email protocol (MX records, ports, spam compliance standards, filtering)Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and office network servicesExcellent written and organizational skills (documentation, task management, etc) Preferred ExperienceMobile Device Management (MDM)Linux Administration *Special projects will occasionally require work during off hours and weekendsOffice grand openings and relocationsAV setup for eventsOther various IT related tasks
