JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for managing Information Technologyinfrastructure related hardware and/or software deployment projects including leading efforts through architecture, design, build and deploy phases using structured approach. The job includes managing staff, vendors, capital and expense budgets for projects and reporting status and progress to management. A high level of communication skills, detail orientation and passion to drive results is essential for the role.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Project planning and implementation.
Develop summary and report on project status.
Resource and cost management.
Maintain vendor relations and vendor management.
Collaborate with other IT and business departments where necessary to achieve project goals.

Bachelor's Degree Required
PMP Certification Highly Preferred
5 to 7+ years IT project management experience with demonstrated experience leading large scale IT deployment and implementation projects in the infrastructure space
Experience in a supervisory role.
Good knowledge of networking, operating systems and hardware technologies
Strong project management skills around task and time management, delegation and accountability, project financials, and resource allocations.
Prior experience successfully implementing IT infrastructure projects within complex muliti-application on premise and cloud based environments
Very proficient in Microsoft Project
Skilled in project management best practices such as building work breakdown structures (WBS), Waterfall, methodologies
Able to manage project risk mitigation and issue resolution
Very strong written and oral communication skills across technical and senior operational management audiences
Must be a self-starter, and detailed oriented
MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Responsible for making recommendations within a department in the areas of compensation, staff selection, disciplinary action, complaints, staff performance appraisal and similar supervisory duties. Plans, assigns, and evaluates the work of subordinates for effective operations and results of the unit.
Makes recommendations or decisions which usually affect the assigned unit/division, but may at times affect operations, services, individuals, or activities of other outside of the assigned unit/division.
Work is non-standard and widely varied requiring the interpretation and application of a variety of policies and procedures. Analytic ability and inductive thinking are required for the application of multiple, technical activities. Problem solving involves identifications and analysis of diverse issues.
Supervision is present to establish and review broad objectives related to basic position duties or divisional responsibilities. Independent judgment is required to study previously established, often partially relevant guidelines; plan for various interrelated activities; and coordinate such activities within a work unit/division or while completing a project.
The job is expected to effectively respond to and handle unfamiliar situations with some supervisory guidance.
Requires extensive knowledge of a distinct trade or technical area. Knows policies and procedures and can recommend a course of action based upon these guidelines, modifying existing methods, procedures or forms as necessary. May work with software applications.
Problem solving involves identification and analysis of diverse problems; answers are usually found by reviewing standard technical manuals and administrative procedures and modifying them for unusual situations. Guidance is usually provided on what sources to review and solutions are reviewed before acceptance.
Work requires using original and creative thinking to develop new, moderately complex results. The results generally impact several work groups, a large project or an extended customer base.
Applies, recommends and implements technology concepts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of a division or has approval for the use of technology for a division.
Serves as a project manager responsible for oversight of a project team. Projects are usually complex in nature. The manager is responsible for a project budget.
Requires regular contacts to carry out programs and to explain non-specialized matter or occasional contacts with officials at higher levels on matters requiring cooperation, explanation and persuasion.
Requires regular external contacts to carry out organization programs and to explain non-specialized matters. Position requires contacts with customers or the public which usually involve regular sales, service, or business relationships but where the primary responsibility for resolving difficulties lies with someone else.
Ability to speak in groups, lead projects and provide a dynamic leadership presence.
Proficient in project management software.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Working conditions of the position are a normal office situation.
May work alone or closely with others in a team environment.
Work is completed sitting at a desk or table with intermittently standing and stooping.

Must respond to multiple task interruptions and still provide service to internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Requires overnight travel 20% of the time
