span Modis Chicago is currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager for a fantastic Contract to Hire opportunity with a top client of ours located in Lincolnshire, IL!!! br   br About client: br Founded in 1920, our client is an American packaging company that is the largest provider of their type of household consumer goods in the United States and third largest Worldwide! br   br About role: br The IT Infrastructure Project Manager will be a key contributor in the PMO department mission by managing medium to large Infrastructure projects and supporting the growth and development of the Organizations project management methodology. The PM will identify, define, and implement standard repeatable processes and/or new capabilities within current tools, advocating continuous improvement efforts in support of delivering Technology projects on-time and on-budget. Providing project management guidance, coaching and consulting services to other project leads. Assist with the organizational project management growth and development activities. This position requires a results-oriented professional with an excellent Project Management track record managing complex, cross-functional enterprise wide projects and initiatives. br   br Job Requirements and Responsibilities: br • Excellent project management track record.      br • Knowledge of PMBOK and project management methodologies (SDLC, Agile).   br • Experience with Project Tracking tools, i.e., Innotas, Planview, Daptiv, MS Project. br • Serve as back-up facilitator for PMO meetings such as the Intake meeting and the resource planning meeting.      br • Ability to manage multiple cross-functional enterprise wide projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. br • Creates, monitors, and updates a detailed project plan. Helps establish integrated work plans across business units and assists with the staffing for each phase of project, including recruitment / assignment of resource to task.   br • Provides management and strategic direction to a project team and is responsible for the project development, budget and schedule. Establish goals, negotiates project commitments and develops project plans. br • Responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing, designing, documenting and formalizing IT PPM processes including the user training, implementation and support of new processes. br • Lead and facilitate discussions with key stakeholders, within and outside of the organization as needed, to assist in the development of new business opportunities. br • Independent, Goal oriented. br • Customer focus with experience working with business clients and ability to establish and maintain effective business partnership. br • Understanding of databases such as Oracle, Sybase, and/or MS SQL. br • Contribute to the broader organization PMO governance, process and standards development, documentation, training and enterprise adherence of project standards.   br • Serve as back-up for operational aspects of PMO office when needed: Maintain user set-up and access rights and overall customer support.    br • Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project assigned br • Creation of reports, design documents or other tangible objects produced as a result of a project or task. br • Project tracking br • Identifying and documenting new processes and improving current processes. br   br Required competencies: br • Strong Leadership qualities with excellent int
