span I have a client in downtown Chicago looking to identify and hire a hands on IT Manager. This individual will be the sole IT resource providing application development to their internal CRM, CMS and SharePoint portal while supporting their internal infrastructure and managing external vendors.  My client has a phenomenal benefit package that includes 75% paid medical/dental/vision plans, fully funded life insurance, three weeks’ vacation and a flexible 35 hour work week with work from home options!   br   br This IT Manager will be responsible for managing, maintaining and improvement all information systems as well as the internal website.  The ideal candidate will have great communication and presentation skills as this individual may be asked to work with external parties outside of the organization from time to time. For the first 6 months the majority of the work will be more application development driven. Specifically upgrading their online SharePoint application which replaced the companies file server. As well as support their internal CRM and CMS system so having a fluent background in API is critical. br   br Duties and Responsibilities: br - Oversee all development that includes the design, implementation and any changes and/or modifications to existing systems and software packages. br - Provide research, work with vendors on purchasing and ultimately install, upgrade and maintain new software and hardware. br - Provide security to all information systems. Utilize outside vendors to assist with testing and auditing. br - Review and upgrade back-up and disaster recovery plans and procedures. br - Provide maintenance and development to internal websites. br - Provide maintenance and development to the internal AMS database. br - Provide CMS administration and develop functions within the platform to improve business processes. br - Provide SharePoint administration and support by improving functionality. br   br To be considered this individual must have a strong background and experience with: br - Bachelor’s degree or better br - Broad knowledge of application development and infrastructure technologies. br - Ability to experience to plan an IT roadmap with the understanding of future IT trends. br - Website and Database administration experience (AMS, CMS, CRM, SQL, HTML, .Net) br - Working knowledge and experience with SharePoint, Office 365, VoIP, Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server, Back-up, LAN, WAN, VPN and wireless technologies.   br - Hyper-V and virtual server experience. br - Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with leadership. br - Experience working within a non-profit organization is considered a plus. br   br /span
