POSITION OBJECTIVE Implements and facilitates the strategic direction and business integration of Company standards & policies for Property IT. Serves as a member of a management team that implement operational procedures, security policies, and financial management of all Property IT within the resort. The position is responsible for the implementation, daily operation, support, integrity, and security of the technology and data that support and enable the business operation. Provide capital planning and operating budget support to the Hotel. The position will maintain technologies implemented in effective working order and ensure system up time, reliability, and meet the needs of the operation(s) as defined by management and Company published policies, procedures, and standards. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Grow the system environments in the resort to meet industry standards. Continue to monitor and evaluate the on-site technology support requirements to ensure cost effectiveness. Ensure secure IT operations.Maintain data backup integrity, and keep current Contingency & Disaster Recovery Plans, and work with resort operations departments to develop, maintain, and test Business Continuity plans. Audit and keep up to date all support contracts, and software license compliance to ensure resort is keeping support on equipment and the services, staying legally compliant with industry software standards, and are taking advantage of negotiated pricing on both. In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the resort: Directs departmental operations and supervises Property IT team members directly, and the Property IT user community indirectly, through lower level managers and supervisors. Provide overall IT governance for the Resort Plan, implement and monitor changes in infrastructure configurations Install new servers and configure hardware Develop and maintain system standards Administer daily backup operations Administer system monitoring for security purposes Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority Work with team to enhance current technologies to improve client services Manage IT staff, which includes hiring training, guidance and discipline Develop best practices and written documentation for all server maintenance Manage the financial aspect of IT development Manage hardware and software vendor relationships Hold departmental meetings to review strategic goals and initiatives, promote team building and work to provide growth paths for staff Ensure the continual functioning of mission critical operations Maintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment
