Summary:

This IT Manager is responsible for managing company IT and support personnel, work assignments, policies and processes. Successful candidates will have excellent problem solving skills, superb people management skills and strong interpersonal dynamics. Experience within the automotive industry (specifically with a company with headquarters in Japan) is a big advantage. Prefer Managers who have led IT personnel in companies with 200-500 users.

Responsibilities:

-Management IT team, including time management, work assignments, performance plans, hiring, terminations, disciplinary actions, performance reviews and salary. Team building and general leadership methods.

-Oversee 24/7/365 support of critical systems.

-Develop new support processes and maintain existing documentation, policies and processes.

-Oversee support of company departments technical and infrastructure needs.

-Develop and maintain ongoing training plan and training curriculum.

-Implement technology improvements to company infrastructure and supporting systems.

-Ensure company risk and security policies are supported and enforced.

-The IT Manager will be required to communicate with internal employees from all departments, external clients, partners and vendors.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or similar; Master's degree highly desirable.

-8-10years managing IT teams with some up-to-date hands-on abilities.

-Experience within the automotive industry (specifically with a company with headquarters in Japan) is a big advantage.

-Prefer Managers who have led IT personnel in companies with 200-500 users.

-Experience within a Linux environment highly preferred.

-Active Directory experience highly preferred.

-Experience managing databases; Oracle highly preferred.

-Experience managing backup/disaster recovery (Backup Exec highly preferred).

-Experience managing networkengineering team (experience with LDAP highly preferred).

-Project management experience.

-Excellent problem solving skills, superb people management skills and strong interpersonal dynamics.
