Job Description
This position will work under the supervision of the IT Project Management Office (PMO) Leader providing project management and coordination and support of project planning and governance activities.
This person will independently manage small to medium sized projects with low to moderate complexity or assist a Lead Program or Project Manager on large and/or highly complex projects by applying the following skills to IT projects:
-Developing Plans and Schedules - identifying milestones, deliverables and dependencies
-Monitoring project activities
-Evaluating and reporting on project progress
-Developing project estimates and monitoring budgets
-Identifying and tracking risks, issues, and action items
-Managing project change
-Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with governance policies and standards

This position will also support the PMO by:
-Refining and standardizing project management tools and templates
-Assisting with project intake and initiating project charters
-Supporting the portfolio/project management tool and collaboration workspace

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to exercise prudent judgment, decision making, and analytical skills to determine manner and operational steps necessary to properly handle inquiries and perform daily tasks within professional standards. External Additional Requirements
-Bachelors degree in Information Systems or Management Information Systems with a minor in business or finance
-2 years of experience in a related field
-Understands the intersection of business and technology

-Experience in IT project administration, project management, or project coordination
-Excellent planning, coordination, organization and time-management abilities
-Excellent communication (verbal, written, listening) skills
-Attention to detail; self-starting and strong focus on completing tasks
-Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques
-Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)
