Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Project Manager to join our Equipment Health Monitoring ("EHM") product, EHM team within Optimized Systems and Solutions (OSyS).
Working closely with established industry names, you will be involved in the complete project lifecycle. You will be expected to support within pre sales and use your industry technical expertise to provide business analysis duties throughout the process to ensure the client's expectations are exceeded. This is a role which may include significant travel and you will have the opportunity to work at various national and international customer sites as well as several OSyS offices ensuring that the OSyS product is correctly configured, installed and accepted by customers, either as a deployed stand-alone solution, or as a managed service. This will require a thorough understanding of the OSyS EHM product, EHM techniques and how these can be applied in the Power Generation and Oil and Gas sectors. This is a well-rounded role which benefits from working in a project driven environment where the ideal candidate can utilize and maximize their industry expertise.
Key accountabilities for this role include:
Manage project teams for implementation of OSYS related products (primarily Equipment Health Monitoring "EHM") through entire project life cycle.
Ensure the product is correctly configured, installed and accepted by customers, either as a deployed stand-along solution or as a managed service.
Supervise management solutions for long-term support and services
Track and manage budgets, schedule, and scope using OSyS project management tools and methods
Develop and manage relationships with clients
Develop and communicate status documentation and presentations for management and clients
Facilitate monthly internal project review and quarterly corporate review of project
Provide support to Sales organization regarding bid and proposal development
Provide pre-project consulting to the customer
Participate in industry groups, continue to develop domain expertise, and coordinate knowledge transfer sessions within OSyS
Coach team members on professional development and feedback appropriately to staff resource managers
Assist with project office initiatives and systems
Mentor and lead staff with respect to gaining expertise
You will:
Develop a firm understanding of OSyS products, to the degree of becoming a super user.
Be able to demonstrate how EHM products can release value for customers in one or more business sectors / domains.
Be able to configure the products for customers' needs, for example, by setting up analytical models that reflect normal behavior of monitored assets and then configuring the models to detect deviations from normal behavior and diagnose the most likely failure causes.
By working closely with customers, develop an understanding of their business, organizational structure, processes, systems and information.
Basic:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering
9+ years of project management experience
9+ years of relevant industry experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, and Word)
Must be able to travel up to 40% (dependent on size and location of project)
Preferred:
Strong communication, leadership and networking skills. Must be able to communicate with business users and information technology support teams at all levels
Highly experience in the use of standard project management methodology
Proven track record of managing projects on-time and on-budget
