IT Project Manager

Looking for a Project Manager with a strong foundation in business analysis to manage and implement solutions working as part of the Paramount IT team supporting Home Media Distribution. The portfolio of systems is focused on Sales and Operational Planning and associated Reporting. In your role you will bridge the gap between the business team and technical teams with responsibility for driving the functional design of new requirements and enhancements.

This position will also be responsible for ensuring that service levels are met in a dynamic environment providing evaluations & solutions, managing and performing activities, fielding questions or requests for advice and assuring resolution occurs in a timely and effective manner.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited too:

-Responsible for managing project deliverables - manage scope and expectations, communicate risks and issues and keep track using formal project management techniques
-Act as process analyst; lead requirement gathering sessions with ability to create functional requirements specifications, process flows and design documents
-Utilize BI reporting and query tools to analyze and produce ad hoc reports
-Strong presentation and oral communication skills to help drive project requirements working closely with business and IT teams
-Ability to manage both business and IT resources and work to defined timelines and budgets
EXPERIENCE
-5 years in Project Management roles with full project lifecycle implementation
-3-5 years in Business Analyst role writing business requirements and project documentation (business process flows, functional specs, test plans and scripts, cutover plans).
-Experience working in a disciplined SDLC type environment
-Experience implementing planning and reporting solutions
-Knowledge of Database design - relational, data warehouse with experience in Oracle and or SQL Server
-Knowledge of SAP R3 and BI toolset such as Microstrategy a plus
-Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering or related field preferred
