IT Relationship Manager

OPPORTUNITY:

Responsible for the strategic growth of multiple product lines or services for major market segment(s). Plays an integral role in the development of market strategies, understanding the business needs for optimization and making enhancement recommendations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as a trusted advisor, and function as a key point of contact for IT business.



Act as a strategic interface with assigned areas of the bank for the purpose of business-IT strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.



Market new and existing technology product solutions to assigned business units to meet business objectives.



Solicits technology feedback on use of existing technology services and requests for enhancements or changes to services to best meet the needs of assigned business units.

Review new developments in company markets, evaluating and recommending new services or new products, or the modification of existing services or products.



Evaluate new product/services success, implement and manage changes in service or marketing strategy.

Review new developments in company markets, evaluating and recommending new services or new products, or the modification of existing services or products.

Ensure product/services are marketable, profitable and comply with legal and regulatory requirements

Maintain an awareness of new trends and developments in marketing and company products and services.

Understand and adhere to the Companys risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Companys Risk Appetite. Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.


Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Complete other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 9 years work experience to include a minimum of 5 years of technology experience

Minimum of 2 years managerial and/or leadership experience

Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
Masters degree.
Previous IT Relationship Management experience

Previous Product Management experience

Previous experience recommending and executing innovative enhancements to meet the needs of your clients
