Monitors AT&T Gateway for daily maintenance, wireless AP troubleshooting/AP replacement including Master and Slave server status, moves and changes. Provides 24 hour a day/ 7 day a week support. Manages the tasks necessary to ensure the availability and scheduling of technicians spanning 7 days 6am to 8pm daily working with the Communications Cordinator ensuring that all shifts are covered. Ensures that the tasks associated with daily system maintenance of the Avaya PBX system are completed accurately and in a timely manner Oversees the Move, Adds and changes of all phones in guest rooms as well as admin phones and phone in the convention areas to include replacement, RMA process and working with Engineering to ensure an adequate PAR stock is maintained. Assists with ordering and keep adequate cable supplies, connectors, jacks, polycoms, switches, APs and testing equipment and tools. Manages multiple implementation projects necessary to maintain the connectivity across the guest network and Telephone network at Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando Project Management of cable projects that can be implemented internally and without the assistance of a low voltage contractor. Work with Low voltage contractors to price and implement cable projects that cannot be done internally and work with hotel management to approve, issue purchase orders and help manage the onsite installation. Assist Security with connectivity issues pertaining to the Security Camera system and assist with Low voltage contractors with maintianing, replacing or installing new cable/fiber as needed. Works with the IT Management with new construction, placement of APs, connectivity throughout site and tranistion to Hotel Opening. Follows New Hire Training and ongoing Star Service Competency program in accordance with hotel policy Ensures adherence to all departmental and Loews Hotels guidelines, policies and procedures Assists with the smooth, efficient, cost effective operation of Technology Systems operation and Help Center departments Attends all required hotel meetings to: keep abreast of in-house activities/promotions and events; maintain communications with other departments throughout the hotel Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards Complies with required safety regulations and procedures Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules Recycles whenever possible Remains current with hotel information and changes Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards
