JOB DESCRIPTIONActively recruiting for a Dynamic Import Coordinator for a client located in the San Fernando Valley
Job Duties will include but not limited to:
Import entry clearance for Ocean and Air In-House entry.
Customs Documentation preparation and arrangement.
Communication with Customs Brokers.
Import Cargo Coordination and arrangement.
ISF (Importer Security Filing)
GSP (Generalized System of Preference) and related practices.
FTZ (Free Trade Zone) and related practices.
Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports
Client is seeking an applicant with:
Minimum of 6 months prior Logistics operation/coordination experience.
Knowledge in customs documentation preparation, ABI (Automated Brokerage Interface).
Must be familiar with MS Excel
Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Commercial invoices, packing lists, Forms - 7501, 3461 etc..
Knowledge of FCL, LTL and LCL.
This is a long term contract assignment. Working hours are Monday-Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM.
