Implant Process Engineer

Will own sustaining and development activities related to Implant, responsibilities include:

- Shared ownership of Varian and GSD implant tools for an 8\" manufacturing line
- Support of implant for multiple technologies, including CMOS and bipolar devices
- Respond in an appropriate and timely manner to out of control process conditions.
- Actively drive continuous improvement activities such as yield improvement, throughput optimization, and cost reduction.
- Perform advanced data analysis
- Spend most of work time in the Factory actively engaged with Operators, Technicians and fellow Engineers. Position Requirements Will have a fundamental understanding of the science related to CVD unit processes.
- Possess a fundamental understanding of semiconductor device physics.
- Must demonstrate application of practical SPC and DOE methodology.
- Must have a fundamental understanding of standard metrology, inspection, and failure analysis methods and their applications.
- Must be able to quickly learn and apply various software applications.
- Must be energetic, self motivated, and results oriented.
- Must possess articulate written and verbal communication skills.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Must hold a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or related discipline.
- Will have 3+ years experience in thin films processing with special emphasis on CVD processing
