JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION

The Implementation Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for managing full technical implementation of client solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This includes analyzing complex business problems to be solved with automated systems, providing project management and technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, developing and implementing systems and effectively and timely communicating status to the appropriate team members. Will also serve as a client liaison and document proposals, requirements, specifications and test plans.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Analyzes operations to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.

* Serves as a direct client liaison for systems implementations (Go-live).

* Act as primary contact for client questions, problems, requests for change, Troubleshoot and research issues, Report findings and propose solutions to management and team members to resolve issues, Identify impact to other solutions or projects, and work with management to identify options and recommendations.

* Provide training to clients on functionality, configuration or setups, integration specifications, and client workflow, Communicate information by written documentation and verbal explanations and demonstrations.

* Documents proposals, requirements, specifications and test plans.

* Serves as an integral participant in the business process redesign and documentation for new or changing technology.

* Responsible for documenting test cases and plans, executing test scripts, and reporting variances for the technical solution from a business perspective to verify that all client requirements are incorporated in the design and meets client expectations.

* Formulates, defines and provides cost estimates for the business process redesign.

* Provides documentation for new technology or changes to existing technology to meet business and technical requirements.

* Researches business strategies and provide recommendations on best practices and changes in technology for mortgage and home equity servicing solutions.

* Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business and information technology from initial requirements to final implementation.

* Creates project artifacts as needed and conducts a variety of test cases to confirm the solution will meet the expectations of clients and stakeholders.

* Educates internal clients and the information technology organization on enhanced functionality and provides support as needed.

* Conducts data mapping and analysis, translating regulatory requirements into the Black Knight Financial Services system.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES

Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

* Prior Mortgage Banking experience preferred

* Functional knowledge in any of the following area(s) highly preferred:

* Systems Implementations

* Project Management (SDLC)

* Technical documentation

* Creation of test plans/cases/scripts

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

* Knowledge of BKFSs products, services and capabilities preferred

* Knowledge of the mortgage and home equity servicing industry environment and processes

* Prior project management experience preferred

* Proficient with MS Office tools (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

* Experience writing queries with SQL preferred

* Prior knowledge of XML data interchange preferred

* Previous experience working specifically in systems implementations preferred

* Previous experience in a client-facing role preferred

* Prior experience working within a web-based environment preferred

* Ability to write highly technical specifications, to include test plans preferred

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical and non-technical information to any audience

* Working knowledge of systems development life cycles such as Waterfall, Prototyping, Iterative, Agile, etc. preferred

* Ability to design solutions and technical requirements by leveraging the appropriate tools and techniques preferred

* Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

* Ability to organize requirements by features and user stories creating a backlog to be used throughout the project lifecycle preferred

* Ability to research ideas and present outcomes in a clear and concise manner

* Ability to influence others to gain consensus on the most effective solution

* Ability to provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction

JOB FAMILY LEVEL

Intermediate professional level role. Possesses an understanding of business functions they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organizations systems and capabilities and uses this knowledge to create solutions to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge. Possesses knowledge of the principles, processes, phases and roles of application development methodology. With limited mentoring support, works as a liaison between IT and our clients and stakeholders in order to provide technical/business solutions to meet user needs. Supports several moderately complex business processes and has ability to adapt to changing priorities. Creates business/technical process designs and documentation as needed for new technology and estimates time and duration of required changes. Translates simple to intermediate high-level business/technical requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and works with development to test and implement those changes. Completes project work within the established time frame, budget and quality requirements. Communicates effectively and timely with clients and stakeholders and brings attention to any issues that are of concern or pose a risk to the project deliverables or overall timeline. Demonstrates an informed knowledge of a business area to resolve problems. Works on multiple projects as a project team member, and occasionally as a project team leader. May mentor entry-level analysts on processes or business/technical functions. Typically requires four (4) years of relevant work experience.
