Job Description
Evraz Claymont Steel, in Claymont, DE has openings for Electricians with a min of 2 yrs industrial plant or military exp. Requires exp with A/C and D/C motor controls circuits, ability to work with voltages from 120 to 4160 volts, & PLC exp including troubleshooting and programming. Requirements:
Perform assigned electrical maintenance and repair operations to maintain mill facilities, equipment, and machinery in working order. Work on ordinary electrical maintenance and repair operations and perform electro-mechanical repairs and maintenance of overhead bridge cranes. Work from drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, equipment operations and maintenance manuals, and work order requests. Assist on heavy and complex electrical repairs that require isolation of high voltages, tearing down complex equipment, stringing wires, bending conduit, etc. Periodically inspect condition of operating equipment for preventative maintenance. Detect and report defective material, improper operation and unusual conditions.
