Job Description
Evraz Claymont Steel, in Claymont, DE has openings for Maintenance Mechanics with a min of 2 years industrial plant or military exp. Specialized skills required include millwright work, power transmission assembly and tolerances, lubrication system installation and repair, close tolerance machine assembly (such as gear boxes, couplings, gears, shaft assembly, pump repair, etc), fabrication, burning and plasma cutting, and welding (stick, mig, tig and air arc welding). Requirements:
Set and align motors and gear boxes; welding and burning; pipefitting and hydraulics; plan and perform diversified installation, maintenance and repair operations as assigned to maintain the plant, mill machinery and equipment; analytical troubleshooting; complex maintenance functions; level, align and secure machines; install various attachments such as pumps, ducts, motors, tanks, guards, brackets and other plant related accessories; assist in scheduled shutdowns and breakdowns as needed.
