Job Description

STRUCTURAL collaborates with clients to improve infrastructure by combining our award-winning specialty construction, repair and maintenance services with our proprietary technologies to provide innovative solutions for demanding engineering and construction challenges.
We are currently recruiting for a highly experienced, hands-on, Construction Project Manager for our Hawthorne, NJ office which focuses on industrial and commercial structural repair projects. Our Project Managers are responsible for generating innovative repair solutions, providing strong field management, negotiating contracts and material purchases, scheduling, and managing subcontractors & equipment. Project Managers are also involved in the estimating process and are responsible for managing costs / budgets throughout the duration of a project. We rely on our Project Managers to develop and maintain strong client relationships and to deliver safety and quality control to our jobs.
This position will focus specifically on growing business in the power and energy markets, and subsequently managing newly acquired construction projects in the greater New York City region. The ideal candidate will have an existing network of contacts in the power and energy market that can be leveraged to generate business.
Successful candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this position: - Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field of study
- 10+ years of experience in a construction project management role within the industrial market - specifically in the power and energy sectors
- Possess leadership skills to effectively train and mentor others
- Previous experience working in a self-perform environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card and must be able to pass other periodic background checks at clearance level designated by Industrial clients.
