DESCRIPTION:

Symantec s Global Security Office is charged with protecting the company that protects the world. GSO utilizes many of the products within the Symantec portfolio to protect our systems, data and network and the CustomerONE team specifically is the trusted advisor leading Symantec to be the best development and production reference site for our enterprise offerings.

Duties Include:

* Drive the data insights across the entire IT services portfolio to generate content on how our organization delivers efficient and cost effective solutions to our customers

* Continuously collect feedback from the SME s within the organization and partner with the Product teams to drive improvement and innovation

* Be the voice of GSO; a principal story teller. Interview executives and subject matter experts, develop copy and content to articulate our CustomerONE experience

* Develop content using a variety of mediums: create training, presentations and other collateral as needed to communicate about GSO s mission and Symantec products.

* Partner with Sales, Marketing, Communications and other internal and external departments to ensure messaging is align with corporate initiatives. Improve and maintain the GSO SymInfo page and external/community blogs on relevant topics.

* Support the C1 and Employee Trust initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelors Computer Science or Information Technology and or related job experience

* Advanced technical writing and marketing skills, across all mediums, including social media

* Desire to innovate the way technical information is communicated; willingness to drive creativity in a traditionally non-creative environment.

* Demonstrated ability to plan, direct and drive large scale communication strategies

* Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to present complex information to non-technical audiences

* Proven successful relationships with IT and Business customers; exceptional customer service skills; experience working as a liaison between Business and IT a must

* Exceptional presentation, communication and facilitation skills, at all levels in the organization
