We are looking for an Informatica Administrator for a long term position with the option to go full time. You should be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder, no H-1's or sponsorship at this time.
Experience in upgrading to new version of software
Experience in installing configuring IDQ, IDE, and Metadata Manager
Experience in setting up and configuring enterprise Informatica Implementation
PRIMARY SKILLS
*6-8 yrs of experience Informatica experience with at least 3+ years of recent experience as Informatica Administrator.
*Experience in setting up and configuring enterprise Informatica Implementation with PowerCenter 8.X (8.6 and further preferable) on Unix and Oracle 10g and greater.
*Experience in monitoring the environments and suggesting improvements for stability and performance tuning.
*Experience in installing configuring IDQ, IDE, Metadata Manager
*Experience in configuring Metadata Manager Resources, MM loads, implementing end to end Data Lineage for Metadata Manager.
*Experience in migrating from V861 to V9.1
*Experience with Enterprise HA and Grid (v8x).
*Experience in handling Production Primary on call responsibilities.
*Experience in installing/configuring PowerExchange.
*Experience in working with Informatica Corp for product issues, licensing and understanding product roadmaps
*Experience in maintaining security through effective management of users/groups
*Experience with PowerCenter, High Volume ETL loads.
*Experience in Implementation of patches and upgrades.
*Resolve moderate to complex business issues, identify alternatives, determine impact and recommend optimal configuration solutions.
*Experience in the implementation of maintenance activities like Power downs / Reboots etc.
*Understand the need for BCP, have knowledge of DR requirements and perform DR tests.
*Provide technical expertise and leadership to resolve complex Informatica infrastructure issues.
*Experience in handling Incident and Change Management requests through service desk.
*Experience in automation of deployments to Production from Test environment.
*Experience in coordinating with internal clients / storage /Unix / DBA teams to resolve issues.
* DESIRED SKILLS
*Certification in Informatica Administration V8.6 or higher.
*Experience in implementing Data Analyzer dashboard reports.
*Experience in automation of deployments to Production from Test environment.
*Strong knowledge of RDBMS concepts, ETL development and scripting will be an added advantage.
*Good team player with equal ability to work independently during weekends, off hours and provide on-call support
*Good written and verbal communication skills.
*Develop complex test plans, which include regression testing and packaging tests into consecutive steps based on logical dependencies; write, revise and verify functional test plans for complex systems in a software application.
*Evaluate and test moderately complex to complex new/modified programs, applications and/or operating systems; monitor system functionality and performance to ensure standards are met; document and track product defects and coordinate problem resolution with development and/pr product vendors.
*Experience in Data Validation/Test Automation.
*Experience in IBM CDI, MDM products.
*Experience in working with Data Modelers, suggesting standards.
