Information Assurance Analyst

Candidate will support Federal Reserve Board (FRB) security assessments. Candidate will be
a member of a team assisting with security reviews of networks and applications; analyzing and documenting analysis of security accreditation documentation; and developing risk mitigation strategies and IA solutions. Candidate will also assist with other Program responsibilities in co-ordination with other team personnel.

Requirements:
Required Skills, Experience, and Education: A Bachelor�� s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, or Computer Systems Engineering and one to 3 years experience in information assurance/cyber security is required.
Understanding of NIST 800-53 requirements required. Must have at least a basic familiarity with Federal, DoD, and industry information security requirements, standards, and best practices; working knowledge of network architectures, current networking technologies, security requirements and features of networks and applications, and other security issues. Must be
able to process and analyze information provided by a customer, make assessments, and assist in recommending solutions.Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Experience with at least one operating system required (i.e., Windows, UNIX, Linux, etc.) Required Clearance: No clearance required, but must be US citizen and clearable. May be subject to customer background checks. Desired: Experience conducting security vulnerability detection/compliance tools such as Nessus, WebInspect, AppDetective, etc.
and analyzing tool outputs against the specific environment under test.
