Sabre is currently recruiting for an Information
Assurance Network Officer/Systems Administrator to work
in Aberdeen, MD.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be required to provide either
Enterprise or OU Administration of Windows 2008 Active
Directory Domain. While working under the guidance and
direction of IA Team Leader, Information Assurance
Manager (IAM) and/or Branch Chief, the candidate will
formulate plans and conduct extensive analysis for
maintaining and installing information management
systems.
Duties include:
* Support lab infrastructure with the ability to:
configure routers/switches, auxiliary equipment and
associated software.
* Optimize functionality of networks and systems;
diagnose and recover failing or failed systems
* Plan and coordinate activities designed to insure,
protect, and restore major IT systems, service and
capabilities. Candidate will conduct system security
evaluations, site surveys, audits, formulates plans,
practices, and procedures to minimize security
vulnerabilities
* Support point to point and remote connectivity
requirements of extensive fiber lab infrastructure
where applicable under the direction of the
Information Assurance Manager (IAM) or Directorate
Information Assurance Network Officer (IANO)
* Perform vulnerability assessment scans using
approved DoD tools such as Retina Scanner and
provide mitigation and support for DoD and Army
* Upgrade the level of services provided to customers,
implementing changes in response to customer
requirements, and resolves issues related to
delivery of services
* Develop and update Directorate or Organization
support policies and procedures under the direction
of the Information Assurance Manager (IAM)
* Coordinate resolution of complex problems and tasks,
possess ability to meet and operate under deadlines
Requirements:
Job Requirements:
* A Bachelor s Degree or extensive experience working
in a related field
* DoD 8570.01 compliant with at least one of the
current specified IAT DoD approved baseline industry
certifications: GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP, CISA,
GSE, SCNA, or CISSP
* Technical understanding of the Windows Operating
Systems: Windows 7, Vista, 2008 Server, etc.
* Computing Environment [CE] Certification under a
current Microsoft certification such as MCSE, MCTS,
MCSA, etc.
Candidate must have a current Secret clearance with an
active SSBI investigation.
