Information Security Analyst

Nature of Work
Executes security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs. Researches attempted efforts to compromise security protocols. Maintains security systems for routers and switches. Administers security policies to control access to systems. Maintains the company's firewall. Uses applicable encryption methods. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information.

The responsibilities of the position include, but may not be limited to:

* Security event management
* Policy creation, maintenance and enforcement
* Consulting with other areas of IT, and the business in
general, on security matters
* Risk acceptance
* After-hours work may be required

To be considered for this position, a candidate will possess, and demonstrate, the following:

US Citizenship
1+ years hands-on IT Security experience
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
CISSP certification
Firewall and Intrusion Prevention System Configuration
Ability to travel occasionally on an as needed basis

The following skills/credentials are highly desirable:
SANS GIAC, HISP, or other security industry certification
DLP Experience
ISO 27001 & 27002 experience.
Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer science or information systems management (or similar)
