Job Description:

Position Summary:
The Security Architect acts as a security focal point for Citrix and is responsible for developing security architectures in support of Citrix’s initiatives. The architect will be responsible for designing, and implementing virtualization, cloud, mobile, network, application security architecture, both internally at Citrix as well as in the public and private clouds.

Job Responsibilities:
- Executing the Global Security Organization (GSO) security strategy
- Providing subject matter expertise and consulting to security architects and business representatives
- Proactively developing architecture design specifications for the business
- Architecting security solutions including Identity Access Management, BYOD, encryption, public and private clouds, and/or secure email gateways
- Evaluating and assessing risk of current and future architectures
- Establishing strong relationships with Citrix departments
- Working effectively with GSO SecOps , Customer Relations, Risk and Compliance team members to achieve departmental goals
- Actively participating in initiatives including project and planning meetings
- Developing supporting documentation

Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Information Security
- 2+ years experience architecting and/or managing security in public and private cloud environments required
- 5+ years experience as an employee of an enterprise global corporation required
- 3-5 years of direct experience in at least two of the following:
- Architecting and/or managing globally hosted SaaS-based applications
- Security Operations
- Architecting and/or managing networking in a large global enterprise
- Architecting and/or managing Identity Access Management technology and platforms
- Architecting and/or managing a BYOD program
- Architecting and/or managing globally hosted SaaS-based applications
- Strong understanding of virtualization technology, products, and services
- DevOps/SecDevOps experience, implementing and managing solutions within various cloud providers (Azure preferred).
- Experience in cloud orchestration.
- Experience in authentication systems and products (IAM, Active Directory, SSO, SAML, federation services, RADIUS, 2-factor, Symantec VIP, Okta, Identity IQ, AD premium)
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technology (IPv4/6, switching, routing, IPSEC/VPN, DMVPN, WLAN, MPLS, 802.1x)
- Experience with security products and tools (CloudAware, Dome9, CloudPassage, Alert Logic, FireEye/Mandiant, Fortinet, Splunk, IDS/IPS, DLP, AppScan)
- Experience in mobile security (MDM, encryption, application)
- Experience in encryption related technology (SSL, TLS, PKI, HSM, software cryptographic functions and libraries, full disk encryption)
- Experience in risk assessment methodologies
- Experience in international regulatory compliance and strong knowledge of security standards including ISO27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST, Sarbanes Oxley, EU Privacy Directive, and other regulations and standards
- CISSP certification required
- BA/BS in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or related discipline)
