Information Security Engineer - ReqCode 21326BR

Job Description:
Plans, coordinates, and implements security measures for information systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information. Documents and keeps current all information security rules and policies. Advises and consults on all CIO project-related information security issues, control gates, and the security review processes in place within the Agency. Evaluates emerging and available INFOSEC technologies to enable Agency systems and users to securely share information with customers and the IC. Performs penetration testing and evaluation of network/server configurations to identify potential vulnerabilities. Performs risk analysis of tested and evaluated networks and systems. Integrates security processes and architectures to address CIO, Agency, and IC information security issues and concerns.
Required Skills:
A grade/level E05 position requires a minimum 8+ years of experience
A grade/level E06 position requires a minimum 10+ years of experience

* Clearance required: Active Top Secret / SCI w Polygraph.

* 8-10 Years experience in the following area;

* Akoura SmartToken; IBM Tivoli Identity Management TIM; Password management software; Remote authentication dial-in user service RADIUS software

* POINT Program Experience

* Active directory software; Berkeley Internet Domain Name BIND software; Domain name system DNS software; Network directory services software

* Expert knowledge of Nessus, AppDectective, WebInspect, SecSCN, and WASSP is required.
Demonstrable ability to build test environments to include configuring and installing appropriate security software.

* Network monitoring software such as Network, hardware, and software auditing software; Quest BigBrother; Sun Microsystems NetManage; System testing software

* Network security or virtual private network VPN management software - Intrusion detection system IDS software; Intrusion prevention system IPS software; Network and system vulnerability assessment software; Snort intrusion detection technology

* Ping software; Stack smashing protection SSP software; Symantec Corporation Norton Antivirus; Virus scanning software

Desired Skills:

* 10 years Information Security Engineer Experience
* Advanced Degree a Plus
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience with the application development lifecycle
* Knowledge of Ruby on Rails and Java is desired.
* Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), UML and Agile development
* Apache Tomcat, BEA Weblogic , Oracle RDBMS, and SharePoint
* Knowledge of the Agency's Project Management Framework
* Experience implementing automated testing

Required Education (including Major):

* BS/BA Degree required in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related field.
* Must have 10 years of relative experience
* Experience may be substituted for Education
