General Summary/Overview



With the guidance from the Identity Management Team Lead, the incumbent directs the design, maintenance, implementation, provisioning, and support of the PHS Identity and Access Management platform. S/he implements the productive, effective and secure delivery of Identity and Access Management systems that are supported on a 24/7/365 basis.

This person is responsible for the Oracle Identity Manager and Directory Services infrastructure supporting OIM, OUD, Weblogic, the Oracle database, and business intelligence reporting platform.





Principal Duties and Responsibilities





Responsible for support in configuration and deployment of the applications, connectors and server management supporting the Information Security Identity and Access Management platform, including development, integration, deployment, and testing. Provides handling of escalated support issues.

Assist in strategic planning and executes new deployments and upgrades according to the phases of the project. Recommend changes to systems operating procedures and standards to maximize information security and system availability.

Ensure ongoing performance, availability, and scalability of the Identity Management infrastructure. Responsibilities include but not limited to application and server performance monitoring and tuning, load testing, error logging and error management. Participate in first line of support for issues related to the Identity Management infrastructure (Oracle OIM, OUD, Weblogic, Linux)

Work with project implementation teams including vendors, senior leadership and working groups, and cross functional teams amongst all Partners HealthCare entity stakeholder groups to define business needs, project approach, scope, and work plan to meet both system and operational objectives.

Maintain a deep understanding of current issues in the realm of information security and Identity Management. Subscribe to major industry newsgroups and mailing lists and assesses the impact of all emerging issues on systems and practices at Partners. Recommend and implement access policies, password policy, and authorization approval workflows.

Monitor internal and external bulletins and alerts pertaining to the IAM platforms: Oracle, Linux, PeopleSoft, etc. Evaluate vulnerability impact/change impact and formulates and executes risk mitigation plans. Ensure the system is functioning as required to support the enterprise.

Maintain broad understanding of information security including HIPAA, Mass ID Theft regulation 201 CMR 17, PCI, ISO27002, NIST and other information security frameworks and regulations.

Work with audit and regulatory agencies, internal and external, to evaluate and assure compliance with information security regulations.

Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university required.
5 years of experience in IT required.
2-5 years of experience in an Identity and Access Management role preferred.





Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required





Proven technical abilities administering and deploying Oracle (or Sun) Identity Management suite including Oracle RAC, WebLogic, J2EE, Java, SQL, and Linux Red Hat in an enterprise environment.
A thorough understanding of OIM 11g technology, architecture, data feeds, configurations, connectors and OIM concepts
Knowledge of HIPAA, Mass ID Theft regulation 201 CMR 17, PCI-DSS, and other appropriate information security regulatory requirements for healthcare entities.





Working Conditions



Office environment, with some travel in the greater Boston and suburban area

As of February 2017, the position will be based out of Assembly Row, Somerville
Possibility for Connected Work arrangements
Occasional after hours and weekend work to perform tasks that cannot be done during business hours.
