IT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER

Optomi is in partnership with an industry leading manufacturing and supplier of fuel, centrifugal oil and industrial filtration systems that are seeking a Infrastructure Project Manager for their Gastonia, NC location.

The IT Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for executing successful large-scale projects across the organization. Responsibilities will include planning, execution and implementation of projects across a multi-national business unit. Throughout the life-cycle of these projects, the PM will be responsible for making appropriate trade-offs with project teams to mitigate any issues or risks while achieving project objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Manage execution of projects within scope, budget and timeline.
* Minimum 5 years of Project Management.

* Deliver progress reports including schedule, issues, risks and financial status.

* Procure appropriate hardware
* Balance project capital and expense budget

* Manage issues escalation and risk mitigation strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Minimum 5 years of Project Management.
* Strong ability to manage timelines & milestones.
* Sensitivity to the multi-cultural characteristics of the global IT organization.
* Strong human relations skills, able to interact with internal and external customer and IT Management.
* Strong leadership skills, the ability to influence, motivate and mobilize teams and business partners.
* This position is the point person overseeing and ensuring delivery of this transition.
* This person will need to manage the resources within the IT department and the business users within the specific division.
* The ideal candidate must have a strong project management background with the appropriate technical skills within a global infrastructure organization.
