SUMMARY:

The manager will oversee the infrastructure and network service provider, focused on the architecture and support of the servers, storage, voice, video, LAN, WAN, and overall infrastructure for Company. The position requires expertise in server and networking technologies along with proven success in working with managed services providers. This position will be responsible for facilitating the planning, design and building of North America infrastructure systems for Company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Works closely service providers in the planning, budgeting, design, implementation, performance, monitoring, performance and overall operational support of all elements of the infrastructure and networking environment
* Work with network providers to deliver a fit for purpose MPLS Network to Company. Monitor and report on performance and make capacity recommendations
* Work with Global Company to ensure alignment with standards and direction of the IT infrastructure.
* Liaise with the Global Company, regional and local IT entities to ensure the alignment of the infrastructure and network services to the needs of the business
* Identify and develop efficiency opportunities, being able to communicate the role and value of the infrastructure and network to the organization and present related business cases for technology investments
* Coordinate Incident Management & Change Management processes in liaison with related IT teams and vendors
* Maintain and ensure an accurate inventory of infrastructure and network assets, services and contracts
* Adhere to ITIL, Disaster Recovery and security policies / standards. Collaborate closely with other teams on joint initiatives
* Analyzes service patterns from the help desk ticket management system and makes changes and recommendations on how to improve services.
* Provide technical leadership and oversight for assigned projects, which may include equipment ordering, testing, troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of upgrades or configurations
* Establish goals, key success factors and provide reporting on services
* Identify and develop efficiency opportunities, being able to communicate the role and value of the infrastructure and network to the organization and present related business cases for technology investments
* Monitor and maintain all external connectivity to business partners and market data vendors
* Oversee the development and promote standard operating procedures, runbooks and consistent and repeatable processes. Strong experience and track record of operationalizing an IT group
* Works closely with the PMO to designs, implement and monitor project plans
* Works with other IT departments to develop long term technology planning efforts
* Assists with the development of the budget and monitors expenditures
* Develop business continuity planning solutions for the area of responsibility

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
* ITIL v3 Certification preferred
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure and networking technologies
* Managerial experience a plus
* Requires late night or weekend work to meet work priorities
* Advanced level networking certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCDP are highly desirable
* Demonstrated ability to work within a team and independently
* Expertise in advanced switching and routing operations / design utilizing Cisco Meraki hardware and MPLS technologies
* Experience with Cisco ASA and NextGen Firewall technology, NetScaler, Riverbed, Websense, Meraki, Windows 2008 & 2012, Active Directory, Exchange, VMware Hypervisor, Citrix, preferred
* Excellent organizational, analytical and management skills, being able to deliver effectively on several concurrent projects with minimal supervision
* Ability to interact and effectively manage relationships with internal customers, external vendors and providers
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills required
* Proven ability to handle competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
