Job Description
SUMMARY: Responsible for the setup, startup, diagnosis and trouble shooting of the injection molding presses, all auxiliary equipment and all secondary production equipment. Ensure all machines run at optimum cycles. Document cycles, changes that are made, water diagrams or anything that may be pertinent to aid in future set ups.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setup and startup molding machines.
- Diagnose production problems and make proper adjustments. Following up to ensure that desired results are obtained.
- Document cycles, water diagrams and any changes that are made to the original set up sheets.
- Setup tech(s) setting up a machine will maintain communications with the corresponding Team on press status so the Teams can plan for startup and shut down.
- Communicate any repair or malfunction of equipment or tooling to the proper support department.
- Substitute as back up lead
Job Experience:
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 1 year experience setting up/starting up injection molding machines.
