JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY The Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) has an opening for an Innovative Partnerships and Alternative Funding Director. This key position works with the transportation community to explore, research, identify, analyze, test, and implement alternative financing mechanisms and innovative transportation technologies to sustain, maintain, improve, and fund Missouri's transportation infrastructure, including revenue generation and private investment expansion, procurement, and innovative financing; coordinates grant writing, credit assistance, and research activities; seeks out new project delivery processes; develops relationships with the financial community to facilitate achievement of innovative transportation objectives; and institutionalizes convergence of information and transportation.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing, public administration, engineering, or a discipline appropriate to the responsibilities of this position and over nine years of experience in finance, engineering, research, consultative sales, C-level relationship sales, or related field, including supervisory experience. An advanced degree is desired. The selected candidate must be a U.S citizen and be or become a resident of the state of Missouri. MoDOT offers an excellent compensation package and the selected candidate has the flexibility to work at any location within the state of Missouri.
