The Inside Account Manager position is responsible management of customers in an assigned geography. It includes: the identification and conversion of new opportunities/projects, responsibility for increasing TE s market share within the target customer(s) and managing the project pipeline thru through Field or Resident Engineers. To ensure complying services and project realization for the customer the position works closely with multiple different functions within TE such as Customer Care, Credit, Agreement Pricing, and Product Management.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

- Builds and maintains strong business relationships with Customers to drive Sales and exceptional Customer experience
- Understands business processes and makes proactive decisions, effectively solving Customer issues, and increasing sales
- Presents TE products, services and capabilities to best meet the needs of the Customer
- Develops sales opportunities and assists in developing the pipeline for future sales activity through daily interactions with Customers
- Responds professionally to inquiries from TE s key accounts via multiple methods (phone, email, fax, meetings, etc.)
- Identifies and drives corrective actions and improvement projects that will raise Customer satisfaction levels
- Works with assigned Sales Manager to execute the account plan
- Performs statistical analysis relating to product, bookings, billings, opportunities and Customer profiles
- Displays strong interpersonal skills and a positive and professional attitude
- Account Management
- Outbound prospects for new and/or existing areas of opportunity
- Maintains regular contact with engineers & buyers
- Ensures Pipeline Funnel Growth in accordance with set revenue and product attainment
- Responsible for demand creation, quoting, delivery escalation, customer scorecard and contract management



- Bachelor s Degree required in technical field (Engineering, Material Planning etc.)
- Industry experience a plus
- Demonstrated excellent communicator (verbal, written, spoken) with exceptional listening skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of an account team to identify new opportunities
- Analytical and structured thinking with a creative ability to work toward targets and identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Strong Business Acumen, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking
