Our client, located in Plymouth, MI is currently seeking an Inside Sales Executive to join their team. The selected candidate will interface directly with customers to quote and sell engineering testing services.
* Quote and sell engineering test services to our well-established automotive client base
* Responsible for sales planning, budgeting, tactical implementation, and organizational improvement activities
* Work as an active member of the sales team on a regional, national and global level
* Communicate in a prompt, courteous and effective manner with customers in all circumstances including providing information, answering questions, and responding to quote requests
* Maintain working knowledge of services via internal training sessions, seminars and current developments within the industry
* Moderate travel is required, primarily in the Midwest
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical) or Business preferred
* 5+ years experience selling EMC, environmental, vibration, and mechanical product testing is highly desired
* Understand and apply advanced concepts of an electrical and/or mechanical nature
* Experience reviewing and understanding EMC test plans for quoting purposes
* History of selling material testing, vibration, or NDT services would be advantageous
* Exposure to automotive, battery, off-road, military, aerospace industries is beneficial
* Ideal candidate will have proven sales leadership skills, is customer-driven, and a prior track record of sales growth
