JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Inside Sales Manager is responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets in their assigned territory.
The successful ISM will build and manage a team of inside executives through coaching, mentoring and defining clear expectations and holding them accountable.
This will be done by spending 40% of time on the sales floor engaged in conversations with sales team. The ISM will insure his/her team sells all assigned products to assigned districts. He/she will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the education market, literacy products, and selling skills.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage inside sales reps in define geographic territory.
Prepare monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
Train, develop and coach new Sales Representatives.
Three or more years of successful inside sales management experience.
Strong consultative sales experience and background.
Outstanding interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Familiarity with web based products, researching via web or other internet experience.
