JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary

We are currently seeking an Inside Support Representative (ISR) with extensive experience with Public Sector sales support and E-Rate transactions. The ideal candidate will be located in our New York City Headquarters. This position reports to the Sales Support Supervisor. She/he will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding individual performance objectives as established by your manager. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Responsibilities

* Meets and/or exceeds individual performance metrics
* Manage all facets of the E-rate filing, reimbursement process for all assigned districts
* Coordinate E-Rate processing: making sure that all forms for the application and reimbursement process are submitted on schedule. When necessary, submitting the following forms. For any given time the coordinator is dealing with at least 2 school years.
* Keeping track of all funds received by school year
* Generate management statistics /reports, report to management, as well as school districts the status of all applications
* USAC a plus

* Communicate and coordinate with district Business Officials, Technology Coordinators, Building Project Consultants and other individuals necessary to assist in the various aspects of the E-rate program
* Communicate and coordinate with Schools and Libraries Commission Officials as required
* Communicate and coordinate with New York State E-rate Central staff
* Central point of contact and oversight for auditors' requests for further information - can be for both next school year requests as well as current school year requests

Provide excellent customer service

Research software/hardware options in accordance with customer requirements

Create detailed customer price quotations and work closely with other team members to processing purchase orders

Resolve issues regarding returns, customer dissatisfaction, download issues, shipping discrepancies, order and invoicing back ups

Offer suggestions to streamline procedures to management and to individual team members

Offer assistance to take on the work of team members in their absence

Continue to grow in the knowledge of customer needs to better assist with making suggestions as organizational policies and departments

Very strong overall data entry and account management skills: Accurate order entry, pay close attention to detail in emails, on orders, and on vendor quotes, respond to customers/vendors in timely fashion, work with a sense of urgency

* Work with the management team to institute processes and procedures that drive individual sales
* Well versed in multivendor Hardware and Software solutions
* Ensure that the CRM is kept accurate and up-to-date
* Work with internal departments to ensure customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
* Demonstrate strong people and business leadership skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* College Degreepreferred or equivalent in directly related field
* Must have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of business-to-business experience
* Outstanding skills in sales operations, planning and personnel management
* Understands the client procurement processes and knows key decision criteria for winning new and / or maintaining existing business
* Knows and understands company's sales tools and processes
* Display successful track record of achievement with public sector sales activities
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent communication, presentation and executive presence skills
* Highly competitive and self-motivated with the ability to deliver results quickly
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong customer presentation skills
* Majority of work done independently
* Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
* Independently moves leads through entire sales process
