Length of W-2 position: 12 Months, with a potential renewal/extension available
Experience Level: 4 to 6+ years experience required
Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm flexible (can work from home as well)
Pay Rate: $40.00 / Hour W-2

*The Instructional Designer (ID) is responsible for working with Project Managers (PM) to successfully develop training programs for UPS customer service representatives globally across all business units.
*Standard ISD processes, such as the ADDIE learning model, are used to design and develop custom business process and systems training programs including instructor-led and e-learning courses.
*The ID is responsible for working with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Information Mapping tools to assess information, determine impacts and identify skills gaps.
*The ID is also responsible for learning and testing proprietary systems and software to identify training needs, determine scope and create interactive learning tools.
*4-6 yrs experience required.
*Captivate 5 experience is REQUIRED.
*Solid, proven ILT and recent Captivate 7 or 8 experience is a requirement.
*Storyline experience is a plus. Along with an updated resume, please submit examples of Instructor Led Training (ILT) that the candidate has developed so that we may evaluate his/her writing skills.
*Any submissions without examples of ILT will not be considered.
*If selected for an interview, the candidate will be expected to bring examples of e-learning to the interview.
*Hours are 40 per week; flexible means they could work from home and office, and the hours are generally between 9 and 5 depending on what works best for the ID and hiring manager.
