Position Summary:



The Instrumentation Technician performs maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, calibration and repair on a variety of circuits, components, manufacturing equipment within regulatory compliance requirements. Responsible for the completion of all paperwork related to the work performed.



Key Job Responsibilities



*Performs maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, calibration and repair on a variety of circuits, components, manufacturing equipment including but not limited to temperature, pressure, flow and level instruments and transmitters;



*Requests purchase of replacement components;



*Maintains all logs and required documentation;



*Accurately generate, document, review, and archive data and reports according to cGDP, cGMP, and CFR compliance expectations;



*Operate within appropriate CMMS applications to ensure compliant execution and recording of calibration and preventative maintenance activities;



*Disassembles and reassembles instruments and equipment, using hand tools, and inspects instruments and equipment for defects;



*Operates test apparatus during test cycle to produce, regulate, and record effects of actual or simulated conditions, such as, temperature, humidity, pressure, and level. Analyzes and converts test data to usable form, using mathematical formulas, and prepares graphs and written reports to translate test results;



*Regularly interacts with operations management.



*Performs other duties as assigned



Education and Experience:



*Minimum of an Associate's degree or certification in Instrumentation Technology or equivalent; or



*High School diploma with 2 years calibration experience using Hart protocols
