Interface Analyst

The Interface Analyst is responsible for the implementation, development, programming and overall support of the interface system. The Interface Analyst will employ generally accepted industry and interface standards in their daily work and ensure the interface engine capabilities are maximized. They will perform data mapping, data translations, ensure the integrity, standardization and compatibility of the system while maintaining the security of the interfaces. They will also be responsible for thoroughly testing all interfaces, coordinating the test plans, engaging the end users in the testing plan, documenting the test plan and making any necessary changes to the system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or
Associates degree with 2 years relevant hospital experience or
High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years relevant hospital experience. (The relevant hospital experience may include but is not limited to one of the following disciplines: patient management, financial and billing, human resources/payroll and clinical systems.)
Two years of relevant programming experience preferred
Previous experience with HL7 interfaces and/or other healthcare related programming preferred
Experience working in a team setting to accomplish the goals of the organization
Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Ability to work well with people who have varying degrees of technical experience
