JOB DESCRIPTIONspan B Interim GL Accounting Manager /B br B /B br B Primary responsibilities include: /B br ul
li Lead the monthly close process, driving a timely schedule across the finance team and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and consolidations. /li li Review and analyze quarterly financial statement transactions and variances. /li li Prepare, review, and communicate to management findings related to technical accounting analyses. /li li Team with the VP Finance Controller and Assistant Controller to develop and improve efficient and scalable processes across general accounting areas, including management reporting /li li Lead the process for quarterly reviews and annual audits, including working with outside auditors on accounting and reporting issues. /li li Maintain and improve Sarbanes-Oxley compliance procedures. /li li Partner with SEC Reporting team, reviewing schedules, earning release materials, and SEC filing documents. /li /ul
B /B br B Requirements: /B br ul
li Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; CPA preferred /li li 7 to 10 years of growing responsibility experience in accounting / finance /li li Experience and proven ability in technical accounting (GAAP) /li li Technical proficiency with one or more corporate financial/enterprise software packages e.g. QBs, Netsuite. /li li Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. /li li Able to embrace flexibility in assignments and the work environment. /li li Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, especially under the pressure of month-end close. /li /ul
