Engineering interns are sought for full-time (40 hours/week) positions for the Summer 2017 program. We are filling multiple positions, and the successful candidate may be considered for several areas of Operations to include:
* System Planning and Protection
* Engineering and Programs
* Asset Management/Standards
* Substation/Control Engineering
* Operations Center (Distribution and Transmissiton_
* Meter Operations
* Workforce Development/Safety/Health
* Project Management
* Vegetation Management
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an ABET-Accredted BS or MS program in Electrical Engineering. Candidates must have completed their sophomore year of studies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Normal office environment. Ability to participate in field visits to work in locations to include, but not limited to, climbing ladders, walking in wooded areas, or visiting field locations.
