Dewberry's Mt. Laurel, NJ office is seeking a summer intern candidate to assist our Highway Department in projects during the summe of 2017. Candidates will work in a team environment to produce design documents for roadway improvement projects. The highway intern will work closely with CADD technicians, designers, and engineers to create plans for private and public projects.","Responsibilities will include assisting on all phases of highway engineering including grading design, roadway design, signing and striping layout, erosion and sediment control design and quantity calculations. Individual may also assist with code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.
Current enrollment in BS or MS degree Civil Engineering program is required.
A minimum of a 3.0 GPA preferred
Zero to one years of experience
Proficient in AutoCAD or Microstation and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Outlook)
Prior internship experience is a plus
