The Human Resources intern is sought for a full-time (40 hours/week) position for the 12-week Summer 2017 internship program. This position will assist with documenting and implementing various human resources processes to support Talent Acquisition initiatives and the Human Resources department as a whole.
1. Assist the Talent Acquisition function with sourcing, resume review, scheduling, phone screening, interviewing, and processing of new hire paperwork, running reports, and continuous improvement.
2. Assist in the documentation/development of policies, procedures, processes, and programs to enhance and support Organizational Development and Training initiatives.
3. Perform job-related duties and special projects to support the overall human resources department, including Benefits, Health & Wellness, 401k, ER/LR, Compensation, Organizational Development and Training.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in school for a Bachelor s degree in Human Resources.. Candidates must have completed their sophomore year of studies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Normal office environment. Ability to participate in field visits to work in locations to include, but not limited to, climbing ladders, walking in wooded areas, or visiting field locations.
