Your responsibilities



Exposure to many aspects of engineering in a high paced, automated manufacturing setting.



Areas of work and learning:







* Mechanical design for new product



* concepts

* design and tolerance stack-ups

* quoting/pricing

* prototyping and testing



* Project management of small scale design project



* Specification/design

* Timing chart

* tracking/report progress



* Assist in product/quality troubleshooting and optimization



* data analysis

* root cause

* solution



* Support development of models, assemblies, and drawings created with Catia V5

* Support FEA analysis of new product concept



* Define boundary condition and load cases

* Define free body diagram

* Define sample testing for correlation



* Introduction to quality systems and related manufacturing industry standards



**This is a hands on learning experience. The candidate will receive a very good overview of Product Development Engineering and Project Management via supporting the projects and tasks of full time Product Development Engineers. This internship is located in our Indianapolis Office.
