International Tax Manager

Superior Staff Resources is currently seeking an INTERNATIONAL TAX MANAGER for a global organization in Lake Forest. This is a contract opportunity projected to go out until mid-July at this point.

Preparation of US international tax compliance reporting including but not limited to the following:


1. Information Return Of US Persons With Respect To Certain Foreign Corporations (Form 5471)
2. Return by a US Transferor of Property to a Foreign Corporation (Form 926), reporting contributions of capital to foreign controlled entities.
3. Information Return of US Persons With Respect to Foreign Disregarded Entities (Form 8858),
4. Return of US Persons with Respect to Certain Foreign Partnerships (Form 8865)
5. Calculating E&P and foreign tax credit pools for each entity.
6. Prepare Form 90-22.1 reporting Company’s interest in foreign bank accounts and related filings for employees with signatory authority.
7. Preparation of Section 338 and entity classification elections.
8. Research of US international and foreign tax issues.
9. Annual Withholding Tax Return for U.S. Source Income of Foreign Persons (Form 1042)

Pay Rate Range: $48-64/hr.
Required skills:
Minimum of THREE recent years of International Tax experience including compliance preparing Form 5471s


Preferred skills:

Self-starter sensitive to due dates once provided with a process to follow.
Proficient with Microsoft office
Good communication skills - required to communicate with foreign subsidiaries and departments outside of tax.
CPA or Masters in Science in Taxation - a plus (not required).
Experience with SAP is also preferred.
